Business Overview
Krypton Industries Limited, together with its subsidiaries, manufactures and sells polyurethane (PU) tyres in India. It operates through three segments: Tyre, Rim and Wheels; Footwear; and Hospital Equipments. The company offers PU tyres for bicycles, push carts, and wheelchairs, as well as for rehabilitation, agricultural, and industrial equipment; and tubeless tyres. It also provides wheelchairs, including manual, electric, and need specific wheelchairs; rollators; walking aids comprising walkers, walking sticks, and elbow and under-arm crutches; hygiene chairs and products, and bathroom accessories; hospital furniture and support equipment; spare parts, such as plastic footrests, headrests, and handrests; commode chairs; and cushions, backrests, and positioning aids. In addition, the company offers moulded foam parts, injection or blow-moulded plastic products, engineered metal components, and heat-sealed or stitched upholstery; and P.U. shoe soles, and sandals/chappals. Further, it trades in tubeless tyres, wheelchairs and its accessories, wheel chair and other hospital equipment, walkers, cycle accessories, plastic rims, crutches, rollators, etc. The company sells its products through a network of dealers and distributors. It also exports its products to Australia, Africa, South-East Asia, the Middle East, Europe, North America, and internationally. The company serves rehabilitation care, industrial, and bicycle sectors. Krypton Industries Limited was incorporated in 1990 and is headquartered in Kolkata, India.
