Business Overview
Simplex Castings Limited engages in the manufacture and sale of castings and equipment worldwide. The company offers grey, alloyed cast, and spheroidal graphite (S.G.) iron castings; and unalloyed plain carbon, alloy, Mn, Hi-tensile, corrosion-resistant, ductile iron, and stainless-steel castings. It also provides bed plate/surface plates and machine tools, such as bed/floor plate, surface plates, angle blocks, marking tables, t-slotted rails, and welding plates; sinter and pallet cars; cement and crushing plants, which comprise large gears, ball mill parts, coal and vertical mill parts, pre-calciner kiln parts, rotary kiln parts, shafts, and crusher components; pump jacks, including well equipment and well simulation equipment, as well as onshore drilling rigs; steel plant equipment; and coke oven doors and assemblies. In addition, the company offers earth-moving equipment, including carrier planetary, dipper handles, sprocket and hub castings, bucket assemblies, boom points, earth mover hub castings, center axle housings, axle housings, and brake drums; and corrugated, round, slab, and sq. ingot molds, as well as trumpets, base plates, and counterweights. Further, it provides power plant products, such as gate and swing check valves, butterfly valves, fabricated pump elements, and other turbine components, as well as turbine, volute, and pump casings; sugar plant products, including feed rollers, roller mill and gear parts, sugar melter pan, drum and wheel assemblies, and settling and molasses storage tanks; and railway products comprising Co-Co, flexi coil, concor, and casnub bogies, as well as truck frames and suspension tubes. Additionally, the company undertakes turnkey projects. It serves steel, railway, power, mining, cement, sugar, chemical, earthmovers, machine tools, ship building, oil and gas, and defense industries. The company was founded in 1970 and is based in Bhilai, India.
